I am writing to show my support on behalf of the animals. I am opposed to the hunting and slaughtering of innocent animals.
Please take the necessary action to stop this. If more people across the globe get together in a united front against animal abuses like this, then this world will truly be a better place for all.

I am writing this letter to be a voice for the most helpless among us, who are at least as deserving of protection as our other children on earth. The animals that we share this planet with have, for thousands of years, become victims of an attitude, an ideology so violent, so cruel, so lethal to the heart and soul f humanity, it is very curious that religious leaders are blind to the consequences. Hitler animalized Jews, Pilgrims animalized Indians, the WASP KKK animalized Blacks, every race has suffered incalculable torment and misery because a dominant race (or so it thought) used force, and arrogance to enslave, mutilate, confine, and destroy them.
Anyone who cares for animals, regardless of the species, dogs, cats, pigs, horses, goats, etc.... understands their ability to feel pain as we do suffer as we do, bleed as we do, be traumatized as we are, get sick and injured as we do, and also the other end of the spectrum. We also watch them play, bond with their young, teach their young (perhaps more fondly, honestly and lovingly than we do) spend countless hours protecting their young, and grieving when those young are stolen away from them.
People are under the badly idea that all other species were put on earth for humans. This tragic and false assumption is the root of slavery, man's inhumanity to other humans, as well as our turning animals into commodities. It is the cancer cell that began thousands of years ago, that has now festered and grown into a full fledged tumor that covers the globe. It stinks , it rots, it bleeds blood into every crack and crevice of this once magnificent gift called earth. When humans adopt the attitude and behaviors that manifest the true teachings of the Divine, teachings that reflect our duty and obligation to protect our next of kin, the animals, we can move beyond cruelty, violence, rape, abuse of power, and all the behaviors that manifest from eating and behaving like carnistic predators...
The Divine parents of this world love their young, humans and animals alike. We will never repay the animals for the abject suffering we cause them. We will never make up to them, the constant assault on their bodily integrity, their habitats, their family structure, or their genetic make-up being threatened by bio-engineering. I fear the damage we have done will last forever, into the eternal abyss. I can only pray for forgiveness and the strength to continue to be the voice for those who, by virtue of nothing less than under-developed vocal cords, are defenseless and victimized under our care, a bit like the predation upon mentally retarded, elderly, or the young all over the world.
In supporting the animals, we support a humanity that moves forward towards practicing the teachings most people say they ascribe to. Jesus said, NO MORE ANIMAL SACRIFICES!! Why have we not heeded His words yet?

How do Christian's justify the killing/hunting of animal ... especially those animals that end up on the wall as trophies or whose body is tossed aside ... because it was the thrill of the hunt that was important, not that someone was hungry???

How do Christian's justify the horrendous conditions "food animals" are forced to exist in?

Please stop this senseless slaughter of God's animals. Please read the passages in the Bible (Old and New Testaments) that are in reference to not torturing animals, they are NOT to suffer! Reach into your humanity, it is there somewhere, buried.

Animals have as much right to live as humans. If they deserve to die for food then so do humans. We don't know for a fact that animals are dumber than us. They probably think in a different way and might think of humans like some humans think of animals, annoying and want then to stay as far away from them as possible. Why do humans eat animals? We can live off of plants! But that won't happen because that would meaning saving the earth, our rainforests and so forth. But no humans cannot concept the intelligence of this action. Not eating the animals would mean saving the planet, so people stop eating the animals and focus on a healthier non-meat diet!

I am writing to say that the world owes animals a better way of life. We have abused, tortured and done just about everything we can to make their lives miserable.

We 'grow' animals as if this were natural. We are supposed to grow vegetables and fruits, not animals. We confine them in some of the worst conditions known to mankind and yet we feel we have this right to do this. Mankind has only one right and that is and was to be the more intelligent of all living, breathing creatures. But we can't seem to do this.

When we think of what the differences are that make man different from animals, we find that we humans act more like the animals, than the animals do. We are cruel, uncaring and evil to others. We kill, poison, and destroy the earth. They in turn try to live within their own environments. It is man who has caused the earth to turn against us. We have done nothing but think of ourselves.

If you thinks that what we have done to these innocent creatures will just go away, I think you had better stop and search your souls. .It will be something that we all have to pay for in the end. For all of the horrible acts against these creatures we will have to pay for these.

I can only hope that one of these days people will see what they have don. That they will try and change the way we treat others and try and make ourselves more human. It is such a pity to have wasted so many beautiful animals. To make their short lives so unbearable and painful. They ask for only food and water, and a safe place to live.

One only has to ask themselves, what would God do if he was here on this earth? What would he do after seeing all of the torture of his creations?

We need to DO THE RIGHT THING!

I believe that animals are deserving of the same respect that is given to human and the laws need to change so that ANYBODY who abuses or kills an innocent animal will get the same amount of jail time as they do when they attack a human being. Animals are living beings too after all!
I just can't understand what makes an animal any less relevant than a human in most people's eyes. Do animals not breath the same air as us and do they not bleed just like humans? Animals may not be able to walk and talk like humans but they hurt just as much. This is something that not everyone can see but it's the truth.

Compassion for animals and all living things is becoming things is becoming harder to find these days. We must always try to protect and care
For the defenseless, the voiceless, the lost and broke...Animals across the globe are being exploited and used and abused. We must never give up! We must speak for them! Stand up for them! We are their hope when all seems hopeless.

If we do not turn this tide of hatred and violence into peace and goodwill then there is little future for humanity. We must start by caring for the weakest and the innocent, and by compassionate world and a better place for human beings and animals in generations to come.
Best wishes to you all.

The North West League Against Cruel Sports in England wish to congratulate the farmers of Gut Greußenheim and all the activists in Germany for their successful demonstration in January 2006. In England even though public opinion was against hunting the blood sport lobby arrogantly believed hunting would never be banned, they were wrong. In Gut Greußenheim it is not a case of if hunting will be banned but when! With your efforts today you've brought that day even closer. We wish you every success today and are with you in spirit. Best wishes from all animal welfare campaigners in North West England.

Any form of animal abuse is unacceptable. For a private person, it often seems hopeless trying to make a difference for better. Still doing nothing is always the worse option. If thousands of people keep sending petitions, maybe something good will come out at some point.

EU should lead the way! First table the laws of animals protection should be standardized all over EU including the candidate countries like Romania or Turkey. The laws should cover all animals including stray animals (e. g. dogs). Also any abuse of wild life should be a criminal act (bears in restaurants in Romania, circuses etc.)

EU should also actively fight for global animal rights e.g. in Asia, Turkey, Canada & Russia (killing baby seals) and use financial sanctions if needed.

Finally, it's great to have people around who care and act for better. Too bad I can't join you there.

I wish you all a great day!

Denial to eat our smaller brothers (who animals are) is the step everyone of us will one day do - after having ONCE gone in feelings into what really stays behind the meat-eating.
And everyone who shows the right example contributes to the task that this day will come sooner for the whole humanity!

To all supporting this campaign,

I wish to support your efforts to reduce pain and death inflicted on animals. God through the death of Jesus has shown us a way of becoming fully human by bringing justice, love and caring to the whole of creation. Being myself involved in rescuing animals, I know that animals, in fact all living creatures are able to feel and return love. What a worthwhile life it is to care for God's creation.
With love and best wishes for a joyous and hope-filled Easter.

I am a strict vegetarian and have been one for the past thirty seven years. My five children were born and brought up vegetarian to vegetarian parents. However, I consider myself a "passive vegetarian", in that I don't go out telling people to stop eating meat, basically because I believe that people don't change, unless they reach that point of awareness. If anyone shows an interest in vegetarianism I give him/her you leaflets. I think you do great work and I fully support your efforts to make this world a better place for people and for the animals. May you have great success in all your endeavors! Kind regards and best wishes.

I would like to give my wholehearted support to your call for an end to animal suffering in the name of Christian celebration of worship. I am a Christian and a vegetarian and I find it both saddening and disgusting the way we as a species justify and excuse the slaughter of innocent animals to satisfy our taste buds. The feeding frenzy that is exhibited at times of "celebration" during religious festivals is awful und surely the message and the honoring of Jesus is lost in all this - He certainly did not stand for cruelty, slaughter and suffering - He died so that we could be set free from such things, the animals too.
I shall be with you in spirit - together, may we make a difference.

I live in South Africa but I heard about your Easter demo and I support it 100 per cent! Every person who eats meat or consumes animal products is a murderer and has innocent blood an pain on their hands. How can evolved and conscious spirits let such perfect beings suffer and die? I hope your demo reaches many and affects their hearts, minds, and choices - if mankind doesn't stop killing, our energy will wither and die and there will be not hope for us at all. Keep up the amazing and enlightened work!

To my fellow brother and sisters of Würzburg, Germany and those who have traveled from around Europe. You have my support and those of fellow South Africans who do not eat meat, or any substances that contain meat derivatives. We, the highest of God's creatures created in His image with a consciousness of love and humility, treat our fellow creatures without humane dignity. The farmers of Gut Greussenheim should know all about animal slaughter. These are visions from hell. Screaming animals are stunned by hammer blows, electric shocks, or concussion guns. They are hoisted into the air by their feet and moved through the factories of death on mechanized conveyor systems. Still alive, their throats are sliced and their flesh is cut off while they bleed to death.

Don't you have any pity, or show any remorse? Killing is inhumane, whether done quickly or slowly, death follows the same path. Our earth affords us a lavish supply of riches of innocent foods, and offers us banquets that involve no bloodshed or slaughter. Thank you to those of you who have made an effort to be here and also to those who have organized this gathering.

My message to all people is that we must remember that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. As spiritual beings we must take responsibility for our actions here in this world otherwise we create unnecessary burden for ourselves.
We are what we drink, we are what we say, we are what we do and eat, and this shows us who we really are. With our free will we all can decide if we want to become more spiritual or taking the path to destruction. Why create pain in eating God's creatures? The law is clear: a tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye, as you saw so shall you reap. Sowing pain will only create pain so why indulge in it? I only ask of you to think and be aware of your doings.

Elizabeth Aldam

If this is the way Christianity is taking, i.e. killing of animals, sacrifices and senseless slaughter then I certainly refuse to belong to it. If the idea of Heaven if that only humans can aspire to it, then I can certainly say I do not care for it. I can also say I'm sadly acquainted with the idea of hell because I see it on this Earth, nothing can be worse than the way animals are treated here, the way they are subjected to every possible form of abuse in the name of science, tradition, entertainment and also religion. But if you speak of a religion of love and compassion that includes all living beings then count me in. If you speak of a Heaven that includes all species I shall certainly try to be eligible for it at the end of my life and I will try to put away the hell I have gone through on Earth, suffering for my furry, winged and wet brothers and sisters, who are by far the best on the planet for they are angels in disguise.
